Concept
The initial concept was to show different scenarios where people were using the software. In each scenario, a couple of characters interact with the software while they talk about the tool, showing the different features in a playful way.
Design
We decided to go with colorful 3D scenarios and several 2D characters to show how it helps devs and testers. All characters with different personalities and workplaces. The colorful scenarios help make the characters pop while showing the interaction between the characters and the tool's features in a playful way.
Animation
Mixing 2D and 3D is always a challenge, but seeing the characters sitting in the 3D world is worth it. Blender + Animation Nodes also helps a lot with complex animations.
